Sharing a Subversion Client

I want to install TortoiseSVN to handle some special projects.
I already have a stand alone Subversion Client installed that is used by my
development IDE (JBuilder).
The installed version is different to the one with tortoiseSVN.

Can I get either:
TortoiseSVN to use my existing client?
OR
My JBuilder IDE to use the Subversion client built into TortoiseSVN?
(JBuilder asks for the directory where the Subversion client is installed).
