Log Not Logging

Hi,

The server hosting my company's SVN repository crashed and the repository had to be restored from backups. Unfortunately, no backups had been done in about a month. I was able to restore my projects to their current state by recreating the project folders in the repository from my local working copies. However, I cannot retrieve logging info for current actions; the log stops at entries that were present in the backup version. Current activity leaves no history information that I can access. If I modify a file now, commit the change, and return later, I cannot revert the file to its previous state. The log for the file (or the project) is showing no revision history for current activity.

Many of the benefits and procedures of SVN are useless without an accurate log. I can live without the history that is already lost, but I really need to have logging from this point forward. I would appreciate any insight on this problem, even suggestions about how to search the archives for similar issues.

Thanks,
Mark
