BUG?: can't turn off overlay icons? [1.5.0.13316]

Hello,

(How) can I turn off the overlay icons in (or from) version 1.5.0.13316?

A simple search in the archives didn't find any previous report about this. I may be mistaken.

TortoiseSVN 1.5.0, Build 13316 - 32 Bit , 2008/06/21 07:55:29
Subversion 1.5.0,
apr 1.2.12
apr-utils 1.2.12
berkeley db 4.4.20
neon 0.28.2
OpenSSL 0.9.8g 19 Oct 2007
zlib 1.2.3

I haven't installed a/the new version yet.

The previous version of TortoiseSVN I used was installed from the TortoiseSVN-1.4.8.12137-win32-svn-1.4.6.msi.
I had just turned off the showing of overlay icons (in Windows Explorer and I believe any other dialog they may appear in).

I recently installed from the TortoiseSVN-1.5.0.13316-win32-svn-1.5.0.msi.
The overlay icons re-appeared in Windows Explorer, showing only the green OK (updated) check mark for all folders.

I tried everything to get rid of them, but didn't succeed, so now I ask you experts.
Currently, I have set showing of the overlay icons for no drives at all.
But it really doesn't seem to matter what I check or uncheck: the overlay icons keep getting shown.

Is there something or some option I oversee?

Also, I find the "Show overlay icons and context menu only in explorer" option (description) a little confusing.
It makes me wonder if I (would) have to check or uncheck this option when I do not want to see any overlay icons at all.

Please reply to my personal email address (also), as I am not a member of the mailing list.

Kind regards,

Stefan Boumans
