You can switch to the "straight" icon set, which hasn't been re-designed. Only the new "ignored" and "unversioned" icons were copied from the XP set and have the transparency/blurriness at smaller scales.

BTW Stefan: Where did our "icons" folder go? No easy way to test icons anymore? All icons inside a dll now?
