Problems connecting to svn+ssh server

Hi,

I have svn 1.5RC9 running through SSH on ubuntu server of mine, however I
cannot connect to it via TortoiseSVN. I also cannot connect to it via plink
on windows using the svn command line. I can connect just fine from another
linux machine, I just cannot connect to it via a windows machine.

My test case was to connect to my repository with this link through the repo
browser:

svn+ssh://server/svn_root/svn/personal/projects/vfx/vfx

However, the repo browser just hangs infinitely and does not go away, even
after 3 hours of waiting. I ALT+TAB around and try to find any hidden login
windows, but I see nothing else open. I'm currently using Windows XP and
TortoiseSVN 1.5 (the latest as of a couple of days ago).

I posted this issue on the subversion user mailing list, however they have
not been able to help me very much with the issue. Why would I be able to
connect from linux but not from windows? Why is TortoiseSVN hanging? Help is
greatly appreciated. This was supposed to be simple but I ended up wasting
the whole weekend trying to get it to work. Thanks for any help.
