Check Repository "taint"

I generally keep a Check for Modifications dialog open, so I can easily see
what I have different in my working copy, and review changes before
committing. And when other developers are active, that Check Repository
button is wonderful, especially with it using the built-in diff viewer.

The problem is that refreshing a Check for Modifications dialog after Check
Repository has been hit once always checks the repository thereafter--which
is indeed useful behavior. What I would like to see is some indication that
repository checking is enabled. Maybe include "Connected" in the title bar,
or disable the Check Repository button (after the check is complete) and set
its caption to "Repository will be checked", or add a label to the left of
it. Basically, some way of indicating that future refreshes will include a
request to the repository.

I'll be the first to admit it's a bit of a frivolous feature, but it's one
of those 10-second waits that adds up (when dealing with repositories with
slower upstream connections).
