Thank you again, Stefan.
I wrote from memory rather than checking my facts first. System Properties
reports Microsoft Windows 2000; 5.00.2195; Service Pack 4; 4CPU 2.00GHz
Inter(R) Pentium; 1GB RAM.
I think I'm on my own with this because it started when I reinstalled
Windows after a motherboard change. Never have such troubles in Solaris or
Linux. But this is at work and I have to use what they dictate.
Donald.
P.S. I find it to be an infantile "OS" so I tend to denigrate it. My
apologies to all who might be or might have been inconvenienced. --dhl
