issue regarding trying to add older log files to a new repository from an old one with different url

I do hope somebody can help me with this issue we are having with our
repository on our new windows 2003 server. I was able to set up a new
repository using the svn protocol with no problem at all. Also I am able to
perform all functions, such as checkout, update, etc.

The issue is before I came into the picture, when the files were copied over
to the server, they contained a .svn file in them already and they were from
a previous repository using the http protocol with an apache server. I have
looked through these files and looks like they still hold the older
revisions.

My question is there a way to get these older revisions into our new
repository without corrupting it? I have tried different suggestions
already but the message I keep on getting is that it can be made because of
the different url.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Mike
