Well for that purpose I would rather see a 'view' menu option which
opens the file in a text viewer (Notepad by default, maybe
configurable along with the diff/merge viewers). It will only work for
text files, but then so does TMerge.
Good as TMerge is, it only gives you half the screen width per file,
and text editors generally have better search facilities, syntax
highlighting, etc.
