TortoiseSVN for Linux?!

Hello! My Problem: First of all: I’m new in Subversion. It is the first time I'm working with it! Also I’m from germany, so please don’t mind about my english. I want to install Subversion to our source-code-server (Windows 2000 Server). I should use TortoiseSVN as client system. Also, all files need to be locked to be changed (I don’t really understand why, because I thought this would be the advantage of Subversion, that everyone can change at anytime any file… but my chef said so…). Till now, everything is working fine. But now I've heard that someone is working with linux and don’t want to use the console-commands. He wants also a GUI. Which program is able to run on Linux, can transfer data to a Subversion Repository on a Windows 2000 Server and also can Lock/Unlock files? Thanks for your help!
