Feature Request: 'Edit next commit log'

Hi,

I often wish there was an option to start writing the commit log
before I make a commit. (Preferably, long before.)

It would be great if there was an 'edit next commit log' option, whose
contents would make it to the log of the next commit dialog and reset
to the log template on commit.

I realize that its contents would not always be up-to-date with the
changes in the working copy, (Would you reset it on a full working
copy revert? How about a partial one?) but even with those things left
to the user to be handled manuall, it should still be a useful option.

What do you think?
