RE: delete file doesn't remove it from the directory immediately?

It's possible that someone had it open.
I was editing a project in Eclipse.
I tried to remove the file from the directory using TortoiseSVN, and then
refresh the Eclipse project.
I was very surprised when the file was not removed.
