As I have now tried several times to report as a bug the fact that the
1.4.3 and 1.4.4 implementations depart from the documented behavior,
I suppose I want to be clear on the status here... is this bug report
being refused? Is more information required? Is there a different
forum or procedure for submitting bug reports?
