calling SubWCRev.exe

Hello,

My IDE allows me to call an exe after a compile, which I use to call SubWCRev to
get the current repository revision, which I display on power-up of my embedded
app.

The problem is, the IDE only allows these calls after a compile, which means
after a checkout from the repository, the next build has the old revision
number. So we have to build twice, and sometimes forget.

Is there another way, such as a way for SubWCRev to be called automatically when
a checkout happens?
