"Saving revision as" doesn't work under certain conditions

I deleted a file in the rep which had been moved within the rep
previously.

I want to restore it.
It does work when opening the rep browser, choosing an older revision,
finding the file and right-mouse "Saving As" it.

However, it doesn't when I
- open the rep browser with the old revision number
- right-click the FILE (where it had been earlier)
- chose "show log"
- right-click the top revision in that log window (in the revision list)
and select "Save revision to ..."
  The actions flag in this list shows a + and an x sign.

I get the message in the screenshot attached (path not found).
What's the reason for this?
Or did I do something queer?

Using this command in the bottom list of the log messages window it works.
