No apology needed, Peter. I tried defragmenting the disk, but it did not
help. I enabled the TSVN cache icon. It tells me that I have 5021 cached
directories, and that it's "crawling" various directories, but otherwise, I
don't know what to look for.

I was going to try to have TSVNCache ignore some of my lesser-used WC's and
see if that helps any, but I haven't got to that yet.

Thanks to all for the advice. I haven't overcome this yet, but I'm still
working on it.
