Hi Erik,

Thanks for the information you provided

Not necessary, just wanted to get an idea. This is bigger than my WCs, but
not excessive.

Hm, that sounds like a problem indeed. I havent seen incorrect icon overlays
for a long time, but I'm running nightly builds 99.5% of the time.

I have the same WCs on two PCs at work. My desktop has 1Gig ram, no
include/exclude paths set and the tortoise cache tray icon shows me ~4200
watched directories.
My laptop has 512K ram, include/exclude paths set and the tortoise cache
tray icon shows me ~1100 watched directories.

This brings me to another idea. Do you have any twisted wc layout, like lots
of externals from the same repo pointing criss-cross at each other? Perhaps
you have found a bug in the cache.

You can try to enable the tray icon as described in
<http://tortoisesvn.net/hidden_registry>. Maybe you notice the cache looping
somewhere.

Cheers
- Lübbe
