In the case of a lab, I agree it can be a problem at
times. I have each user have to login each time. It is a
pain, espiceally when they are checking logs/updates
often, and have to enter this everytime. Yes, sometimes
it does cause an issue of wrong author in commit.

I have thought of a possible improvment (at least somewhat
easy to put in and will probably help). I would like to
have the actual user name who is saved to be displayed
somewhere on the commit dialog. This will probably
prevent accidental commits with wrong user.

Overall I would like a way to allow faster switching or
something.
