New setup

Hi everyone,

My boss has asked me to look into Subversion (and subsequently
TortoiseSVN) for our development. We are a very small IT department,
where all of our files (mostly Access, SQL, and some .NET) reside on a
local shared network drive. Unfortunately, everyone in the company also
has some sort of access to these directories. What is the best way to
set up a repository for us to use? I have read how well Subversion
works with Apache, but I'm not sure we would really need that. Thanks
for any advice you can give me.
