I am very sorry for the confusion. I was told by a user that on a
local drive the
icons and menus reflected changes in the repository, but on a samba mounted
dive they did not. I tried it on the samba drive, but not the local
drive - I just accepted
what the user had told me. I should have known better. Mea culpa for believing a
user.
