Problems with SVN Update

From: Harold Putman <h.putman_at_ieee.org>

I am having problems checking out and Updating using Tortoise v 1.4.1

The operations take forever and when they complete, I get the following
error.
Error: PROPFIND request failed on '/cpdsre/!svn/bln/209'
Error: PROPFIND of '/cpdsre/!svn/bln/209': Could not read status line:
connection was closed by server. (http://cougar.mw.company.com)
I can use SmartSVN (another Subversion client) to update or checkout without
any trouble.

This only happens for a particular subversion server. I am accessing the
server via http: inside a corporate firewall. I am not sure what version of
subversion it is running. Tortoise used to work fine with this. Does this
latest version of TSVN require a particular version or configuration at the
server?

Thanks for any ideas,

Harold Putman
