Regarding ignored files ... no, it did not have to do with the ignored
files.

I was able to reproduce this once again today. I performed another
merge, updated some conflicts in the conflict editor and did other edits
on other conflicted and modified files. There are maybe about 20 files
modified, which showed up when checking for modifications, but only two
showed up in the commit dialog.

This time I tried the commit. It seems that all of the files were
committed. So, it therefore seems that this could simply be an issue
drawing the commit dialog. I have also noticed that sometimes the
colors of the files are wrong in the lower portion of the dialog (black
instead of blue).
