Please now go back in time and think. What exactly did you install in
addition to TortoiseSVN between the time your sound worked and now?
Or if you're surfing the net with IE, what websites did you visit and
what spyware did you unintentionally download?

What makes you think that TortoiseSVN has anything to do with a codec at
all?
