Re: which svn client does Tortoise use?

The TortoiseSVN Client contains the Subversion client, it does not make
calls to any other SVN Client you have running on your system.

Bring up the "about" dialogue box and you will see which version of
Subversion that TortoiseSVN has been linked with.
