You could try unchecking the box that says "Stop on copy/rename" in
the show log dialog. Then it will likely show logs past a copy/rename
when you next retrieve log messages (click "Next 100" to check it
right away).

Likely something caused the registry setting storing this checkbox's
state to change when you installed 1.4.0
