You really should update your client. The current release docs
http://tortoisesvn.sourceforge.net/docs/release/TortoiseSVN_en/apc.html
clearly state that you have to append a number to /closeonend.

But even then: in case of an error, the dialog isn't closed.

TSVN isn't really suited for silent tasks. It's an UI client after all.
If you want to do something completely silent, use the command line client.
