Lock not showing

Hi - Has anyone had a problem with the locks not showing in the working copy.
I'm using TortoiseSVN 1.3.1, Build 5521 - 32 Bit & have tried doing a cleanup, update,
check for mods (repository) but nothing seems to make the lock show.
The repo browser tells me it's locked by me.

Also when using the context menu on the top directory it seems to check everything
every time - is this a bug - I can understand it being slow once but not every time - I know
you can turn this check off but was curious why it did it every time.
