Unable to write to Standard output

hi,

i am using linux suse 9.0 as a server. i installed the latest subversion
release 3.0 with no compilation agruments:
./configure
make
make install
svnserve can be found in /usr/local/bin/
after that i created a repository ("svnadmin create /home/svn") with the
remote user.

now i want to use TortoiseSVN (windows xp) with ssh. but when i try to
browse the repository i get the error message:
"Unable to write to Standard output"

i found some hints on your page: http://tortoisesvn.sourceforge.net/node/28
but none of the hints help me out with my problem.

when i use plink everything is fine (no error message) and a "which
svnserve" prints the correct location of the binary.

now i googled for hours but i couldn't find any solution for it.
can you give me some hints where i can take a look at to solve the problem
?!?

cheers,
timo schäfer.
