Inconsistent log reporting between two machines on the same repo, same file

Hello,

I'm having a strange issue in which the TortoiseSVN client (v. 1.2.6,
connecting to 1.2.3 server) is reporting log information incorrectly,
where on a different machine with the same software, I get the correct
log information.

Here is my usage scenario:

1) Check out a fresh copy of repository x.
2) Open up and modify test.txt.
3) Commit working copy to repository.
4) Update working copy (no changes).
5) Use TortoiseSVN rename to rename test.txt to directory/test.txt
(essentially moving it to directory).
6) Commit working copy to repository.
7) Update working copy (no changes).
8) View log information of directory/test.txt.

What I am expecting is to see the modification in step 2 show up in the
log information, but it is not. The only modification I see to the file
is when it was moved from test.txt to directory/test.txt. The odd thing
is that repeating these exact same steps via TortoiseSVN on a different
Windows machine (same software version, same repository), I get the
results that I was expecting. When I view the log of my steps on the
Windows machine and Linux machine, I get the expected results. This is
also occuring with different repositories and other versions of TortoiseSVN.

Any help with this matter would be much appreciated.
