Performed Checkout on the tortoisesvn repo including externals on Win2K
Performed Checkout on the tortoisesvn repo excluding externals on Win XP.
Win2k already had the username/password and went ahead quite resopnsively.
Win XP prompted once for username/password and the checkout ran smoothly.
Watching the TSVNCache CPU cycles, on the 1.4GHz celeron, at the end of
the update it had a burst of 1 sec at 78% and all the icons at the root
level showed valid.
Even better on the 3GHz dual core box.
Have committed changed files via file:/// and http:// to local disc and
same domain apache server without a hitch.
apache 2.0.54 (win32) SVN 1.2.3 (local and remote)
No authentication required to the above.
No entries in the apache error log.
So in this uncomplicated scenario there are no observed glitches.
