Thanks for such a quick reply.

All my company's colleagues complain about this issue. We are all merging using Subclipse, which does not have this issue.

I understand that the code base must be stabilized, but I assumed this is affecting millions of users and should be addressed on a public update. And I just wanted to make sure you understand how common this issue is.

I do not intend to spend any time building and using an nightly build, taking the risk of having more issues on the way. I'll just wait for a public update or, if I have to, revert back to 1.7.
