I tend to agree with Daniel here.
But if we did change the numbering scheme, where would that version
number appear? The Windows version reporting only supports 4 integer
fields, so what happens to the subversion revision currently in the
4th field?
And if we have the Windows version different from the version
displayed in the About box then we have a different confusion. And the
About box already shows the subversion version.
