Do you also need something like time interval since the count(s) started?

Seems like a reasonable request, not uncommon. I would allow it, especially
since this is an open source tool that allows me to inspect the code that is
being used (if I would want to).

I would appreciate some kind of permanent log file that keeps track of the
times and content of the data that has been sent
