Sorry for bad wording; Even I double click (which work as expected) next
resizing have one step behind behaviour.
By other words:
Double click : ok
Move: nothing happen - left panel keeps it size
Move: previous resize take effect.

Note you should do ONE big resize move otherwise you will not see that
that clearly.

Quite simple test:
Open window maximized. Restore size. Maximize ... You should see one
step behind behaviour.
