apr-util is unrelated. I mentioned it only to comment about current
activity on dev_at_apr.

BTW,
 the current status is that apr 1.4.5 is already tagged and vote is
underway. If there are no problems the release is expected in a day
and official announcement on Monday. Relevant threads:
