As we always tell people not to mess with .svn folders then it would
be good to keep it, although I agree that it is not hard to remove the
single .svn folder.

Also I seem to remember that the original plan with WC-NG was not to
have one .svn folder for each WC but a centralised database for all
WCs. If that happens then there will have to be a different mechanism
for unversioning built into core svn, so the menu entry will be needed
again.
