Translation question

Hi Folks,

I was just about to translate the latest resource changes into German
and stumbled upon two abiguities which I'd like to resolve before
going the wrong way.

1) Check externals to explicit revision

Does check in this case mean "tick a checkbox" or does it stand for "test ..."?

2) Fixed at rev

Does fixed in this case stand for "immovable" or for "repair"?
