I understand what you are doing, but you are using the term 'Tag' to
mean 2 different things here. Firstly you are creating a subversion
copy, which we are calling a tag. Secondly we specify a particular
repository revision for externals which we are also referring to as
'tagging'. They are not the same. You are not creating a tag in the
external repository, just locking down the external pointer to a
specific revision.
