Now that was a silly thing to say, and is hardly likely to increase
your chances of getting anything changed. FWIW Stefan's native
language is Swiss German, not English, although you wouldn't know it
from the mailing list.

Let's skip the generalizations about what "every non-English
programmer" does, because there is no general rule. And from that
point of view, maybe TSVN is wrong because it provides the tools to
help enforce log messages in one language, but doesn't help for people
who like to use 2 (or more) languages. It may be our rule, but we
don't need to force it on everyone.

I read the Mozilla thread that was referenced and it looks like
checking in all languages is not really a good solution either, unless
the languages are totally different (like English and Chinese or
Russian). For example there may be a spelling error in English, but
which happens to match a correct German word.

It may be worth adding the facility to select a language at commit
time, with the current methods providing the default.
