VirtualBox - Windows XP hosted on Linux Mint (Ubuntu Karmic 9.10) - Bug/Request - Icons issue

Hi ! First I'd like to thank all developers for this very nice app.

I now use Linux rather than windows and was not able to find a
"tortoiseSVN-like" on this OS. So I use it in a virtual machine with
VirtualBox with Windows XP. I made a shared folder in Linux (smb) and
can reach it within VirtualBox. This folder contains several folders
with working copies.
I can use them with TortoiseSVN (commit, show log, update ...) but I
have one problem: I don't know why but icons for modified files/
folders are not present ; instead there is a "classic" folder/file
icon. The only icon I can see is the green ticked white one on
folders.

I guess/know this is not the proper way to use TortoiseSVN but I hope
someone could help me with this issue anyway or explains me why I get
this behaviour at least.

Best regards.
