I had the same (bad) feeling when I did the German translation, that
this is going to be a challenge for the translators. I found a solution
in German, but I'm not sure if it will work correctly in all cases.

Unfortunately TortoiseSVN doesn't use ngettext (the function that can
handle plural forms) but the translations are compiled directly into the
dlls. This makes it impossible to find a good solution for plural forms
in any language. The question is "how much does it hurt" us and "is it
worth the effort" to change it. There are not many plural cases in the GUI.
