Line too long error with .gif file

Folks,

I have a slightly older version of TSVN and I wanted to get all my files into a new respository before going through the install process of the latest TSVN. I have run into two issues.

1. When I started the upload process and after successfully uploading a few directories, I got the following error when the system was committing a .gif file.

Error: MERGE of '/svn/mypadosi/Trunk': Error reading response headers: Line too long

How do you get around this error?

2. When I try to upload the same directory again through SVN commit (directory where the error occurred), I get the following error

Error: MKCOL of '/svn/mypadosi.... <some path here>': 405 Method Not Allowed

I understand this error is caused by the fact that the some of the files are already there in the repository. So after I resolve the first error how do I continue with the check-in process? The files still show the blue plus sign though apparently some of them of them are already in the repository because I can get them out.

Thanks for your thoughts/pointers.

Regards,
-S
