Great, that did the job.
I had tried SVN cleanup which picked up a few things; and then some files
were marked with the "conflicted" icon so I deleted those and did an
"update" to get the latest version, but it had still failed to get the
most recent.

I've reviewed section 5.9 of the help and have some suggestions:
1. The menu is shown as an image above the descriptive text for each
bullet item. Given that there are so many items, it's difficult to match
up the menu items to the bullets. In fact, it appears that the
descriptive text for "Revert to this revision" and "Revert changes from
this revision" have been swapped. Please could the menu text be placed
above each bullet point?
2. "Update item to revision" appears to selectively obtain updates from
the repository, for the item on which the log dialog is invoked. The
descriptive text in the help is confusing in the text "Useful if you want
to have your working copy reflect a time in the past." Actually, it would
be useful when you want to apply updates carefully to check the effect.
3. I suggest that "Revert to this revision" be changed to "Return working
copy to this revision". It would also include the sentence "To return to
the latest revision, use "Revert"."
4. Then "Revert changes from this revision" could be changed to "Return
working copy to this revision only". That's a bit wordy, but consistent.
Again, the descriptive text in the help would include the sentence "To
return to the latest revision, use "Revert".".
In addition, the message box displayed when the last two items are
selected could include an extra line saying "To return to the latest
revision, use "Revert".".
