Oops, I could have been a little bit more specific ;)

TortoiseLang generates this line with the escaped
double-quotation mark every time it gets build.

I noticed that some time ago but thought the
output was correct and would be committed with
the next .pot file update. Now, that the single,
unescaped quotation is still in the .pot file,
I tend to blame my build environment.

A quick google search did not yield an obvious
answer, so I wondered whether there is some
flag / setting that I just missed ...

It's a 32 bit XP VMware with everything set to "English".
