the icon overlays will kill your system if you have a large repository
and/or a large number of repositories on your machine. subversion
constantly tries to update the status of files changed in the
repository, whether you have used / accessed that repository anytime
recently or not.

it's almost as bad as vista's search indexer for bringing a machine to
it's knees ;}
