TSVNCache causing slow login times?

For some reason, my system is horribly sluggish on a constant basis. I'm
using TortoiseSVN 1.5 and running Windows XP x86.

My hard disk will go crazy and the system runs very slow. When I open task
manager and kill TSVNCache.exe, the problem goes away. What could be causing
the problem? Thanks.
