Thanks for your offer to help. Looks like know the most important stuff, but I just copy the instructions that I sent to the other volunteers. If something is unclear, ask on the dev list.

Romanian is only 25% done and obviously still needs a lot of work, so don't try to finish everything in one go. It takes a while and can become frustrating. Translate 5-50 phrases per day and check in these small pieces of work. (my personal recommendation) :)

To get started, there are only a few things to do:

1) Install poEdit on your PC <http://poedit.sourceforge.net/>
2) Check out <http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/svn/tortoisesvn/trunk/Languages> You'll get more than one language, but the Romanian translation will be in the folder too.
3) Update from .pot file and translate :)
4a) Send your translated file to the developer list or
4b) Create an account at tigris.org and send me your user name, so that I can give you commit access.
