OK, is as designed.

to avoid this confusion, wouldn't it be better ...:
1. to have "Revision" AND "Remote revision" in "check-for-modifications"
dialog
2. to update overlay to "modified" after repository check or cleanup?
(evtl. extra overlay for "remotely modified")
3. to show "Working Copy - Local Modifications" and "Working Copy -
Remote Modifications" respectively in the window title (or somewhere else)
    (see NetBeans "Show Changes" dialogue in the attachment; 3 buttons
for different views)
4. to show complete path (+ filemane) in the window title if invoked on
single file
