Well, that's the most difficult part, coming up with consistent, good translations for terms that do not exist in your language. Same here in Germany. We chose "Projektarchiv" = project archive as translation for repository, because a literal translation just sucks and had to find other terms as well.

I think the original Hungarian translator is a student who has just finished school, so I wouldn't blame a 17 year old for inconsistency :)

That's no problem. The important thing is that someone is actively maintaining the translation. It's done when it's done. I recommend that you try to clear up the inconsistent bits first and that you commit as often as possible, so that most of your changes make it into the repository before the release. Please don't wait for a 100% perfect translation before committing. You will never finish ...
