looking at the many translations which are more than 95% complete (13 in
total), I'd like to give those translators a few more days (this week)
to catch up.

Polish, Hungarian and Farsi have a long way to go and the translators
are new, so we should not wait for these before branching. The
translators can probably handle the merge fine, since they are already
familiar with TortoiseSVN.
Srdjan promised to finish Macedonian "this week", Czech will probably
not be ready, because Vojtěch doesn't have time. No news from the
Croatian, Turkish and Greek translators.
